As one of the city’s first Condo/Hotel communities, this is an unbelievable community. Like most the condos are all on the upper half of the building. You can usually spot the condo sections in Condo/Hotels by the balconies. Few hotels give their guests balconies. I could definitely get use to living here but you better be ready to shell out some dough to take advantage of everything; room service, valet parking (gratis), a great restaurant just downstairs, a full service spa and to top it off a virtual golf course. I’m looking forward to seeing Olive 8 when it’s done because it is closer movies and shopping.

An Interesting Mix

 

Madison Tower offers a unique living situation because it has condo units and a hotel in the same building. This means that condo owners enjoy all the perks of living in a hotel - Boka restaurant, wine tasting/social area, business center (a fairly small room meant for one person, which has a desk, computer, printer, etc.), fitness center, spa, virtual golf, room service, same-day laundry service, and 24-hour concierge. I asked the concierge if owners were bothered by vacationers travelling in and out of the building; he said it made no difference. However, the downside to this living situation is parking. Tenants must valet their car each time they arrive/leave, or pay monthly parking for $125. Even if they do pay the monthly rate, they must have valet park the cars for them. Vehicles are stored in the lot by elevator. This means that when a resident needs their car, they must call ahead of time or wait, which can be inconvenient.
